Hello,
I have Lenovo 300 V100 Laptop which came preinstalled with Vista Business.
I decided to install Win XP Pro x64 Edition.
I am having a hard time finding working drivers for 64 bit for my laptop:
1)Fingerprint Reader utility: (the driver is installed but the utility that comes with the laptop does not support 64Bit (Softex Omnipass, I didn't even find 64Bit info on their site
2)Intergrated Camera:
I have managed to find a driver for BisonCam NB for 64Bit, on MSI site..
the driver installed correctly but the camera still doesnt work
3)Hotkeys.
4)Bluetooth
On Lenovo there are just driver but nothing for XP 64.
Does anyone have an idea or infor on how could I solve this ?

Sorry to break it to you, but Lenovo really sucks at providing drivers for some of their stuff. I'm having difficulty operating the camera, some buttons, and the fingerprint reader. Lenovo does not provide many drivers, and sometimes you're forced to get them yourself.
For your bluetooth:
search for "Foxconn Bluetooth 2.0" to get the drivers. I did some quick searching and did not get quick fixes.
as for the fingerprint... I don't really know of a fix. Lenovo comes with a driver, but not the software... meaning you need to get your own software, and they provide drivers for it (like giving you wheels to a car frame, but you need to buy your own engine).
The hotkeys, however, should be found on the Lenovo website. Software should work with whatever OS you have -
Thanks for you input,
I pretty much gave on 64Bit Win OS oon this computer, nwo trying my luck with linux

Dear All,
Windows Vista biz on V100 sucks , I have even upgraded to 4 GM Ram but still getting lazy donkey behaviour from the Lenovo 3000 V100.
I dont have XP64 bit , I have acopy of XP32bit, it did not detect any HDD on the laptop, so please advise me the best and working drivers to install HDD while installing 32bit XP, and if not then le tme know do I need any drivers if I decide to go for XP64bit.?
Seeking your Expert opinions please. -
You have to get into the bios, I dont remember were the option is located exactly but you need to change the SATA to Compatability mode , and not AHCI, this way XP will detect your drive.
One other hand it to search on Intel site if they have the Intel Matrix storage driver floppy or iso imange for installation within XP -

LG has fingerprint reading software on their site.
