    New addition at Dealextreme!

Everyone should have at least 2 AC adapters so that you can keep one at home and one for on the go. Or even another one for the office as well.

Looks like this is a genuine Lenovo product, not 3rd party. This is a 20V adapter so it will work with all Lenovo models and some late IBM models.

Only downside is that it is a 3-prong adapter and will require a 3-prong power cable which is not included. You'll need to order that separately for about $4 shipped from monoprice. You could probably pick one up for ~$1 at a local discount store though.

Seems like a good deal! Interesting, though, my AC adaptor is 2-pronged, not 3 pronged...

Hmm I already have a fake 90watt (that seems to have been working fine for half a year)...so I guess I don't need it. Good deal still though.

    Yes.

Yes, it will work - Lenovo usually supplies models with integrated graphics with a 65W adapter and models with discrete graphics with a 90W, but sometimes when they also give integrated models 90W adaptors. In fact, a 90W adaptor would probably give you a faster charge time than your 65W one.

A 90 watt supply will work fine with a 65w supplied model. The dedicated/switchable models come with 90w adapters, the integrated models come with 65w adapters (smaller/cheaper). You can use a 90w adapter on a 65w model, but you should NOT use a 65w adapter on a 90w model.

I'm a bit confused as to why it's a 3 prong (grounded) design as most of the Lenovo adapters are 2 prong only (more versatile). However, it should work fine for leaving in one place.

This adapter should work with any of the current models as well as the 61 and 60 series models.

It will NOT work with the 50, 4x, and earlier machines as they use a different voltage adapter.

Wow, thanks for the post and the links. The power cords at monoprice are actually around $1.90 or so each (a bit less if you get more than one).
