Hi,
Does anyone know that if I use the ThinkPad Serial ATA adapter to put another HDD in my T500, does the ActiveProtection software stop both HDDs (built in HDD, bay-adapter HDD) at the same time?
Also, usually the advice is to remove ActiveProtection is you have a SSD disk, because they are not sensitive to movement. What about if you have an internal SSD disk and a regular HDD in the bay? Any experience with this setup using ActiveProtection?
Thanks!

HDAPS supports the UltraBay.

Not much help from HDAPS, since I am using Windows only. As far as I know HDAPS is Linux only.

Whoops my bad. I tend to call it HDAPS in Windows too.

Yes, APS does park both the hard drive in the main bay and in the UltraBay when a shock is detected by the accelerometer on the Thinkpad mainboard. See the APS source article from Lenovo, quoted:
Lenovo ActiveProtection and 2 HDDs (T500)
