I have bought Lenovo B40-70 notebook just a few days ago. I am asking this question is i have a doubt whether dealer gave me brand new one or product which is few days used.

    Please note:
I don't have any issues with this laptop till now, no scratches, no worn out key pads, no noticeable sign that could proof its not a brand new. On the other hand, it is to be noted that, my battery wear level is shown 4%. My question is, is it normal for a brand new laptop having 4% worn out battery pack or my laptop is just a used product

Try calibrating it first. Go to lenovo power manager tools and run battery gauge reset. If you use win8, power manager is not supported so you have to do it manually (see win8 part).

It's common to have wear level > 0% at first buy. It could be the battery has been used since the release from factory.
