    Lenovo CCFL half-life?

    Anyone happen to know the number for Lenovo screens? Even better if there's an estimate for when it becomes noticeable (well before it reaches %50 brightness). With Thinkpad screens already dimmer than the competition, the thought of it getting dimmer is pretty horrifying.

    Yea, that would be quite interesting to know.. I wanted to get an x200 at first, but now I'm waiting for the x200s to come out (since it has the LED screen).

    But hey maybe I'll reconsider if the CCFL has a good lifetime!

    LEDs also have a half-life. The question is whether LEDs have a longer half-life compared to CCFL I suppose!

    LED half-life is 10x CCFL on average. CCFLs have quite a large range depending on which one it is.
