    So right now Lenovo has a 15% off coupon on the Thinkpads. Should I expect a better coupon to be issued between now and Christmas? Or a post-Christmas sale?

    People have been asking about coupons again and again. We can guess but ultimately we don't know for sure. I think the best thing is to factor in your time with having the laptop now, vs later. Is it WORTH it to you? The x200 has dropped considerably but I have had mine for 2months, etc. Also remember has the 21day price matching policy after you receive your unit. If you want you could try and wait until about the middle of your time frame and use the price match option if you have to.

    Good luck trying to get a price match. I can't say for sure but to me it seems Lenovo is playing games with the coupons, at least here in Canada. On the Canadian site last week with no coupons available it cost $80 to upgrade to the LED backlit screen on a T400. Now there's a coupon for 20% off and the LED screen costs $360.

    I tried configuring a T400 a couple of weeks ago when there was a coupon running and they did the same thing with the LED screen at $360.
