This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I bent and cracked my E420's screen.
    Since I have to replace it anyway, I would like to upgrade to 1080p.

    Has anyone upgraded the Lenovo E420 screen to a 1080p or better screen?
    Is it even possible ?

    If so, can you post the parts, vendor, and procure or a link?
