    this card if from Lenovo, will work with the R400, T400, T500, T400s, X301, etc.

    You would have ask the seller whether this is from Lenovo, but from the picture this is an engineering sample, so the answer is most likely no, without a modified bios firmware with the whitelist removed.

    i have one from ebay. my t400 can't acquire the satellite. i'm not sure it caused by a defective card, or it need data network (3g, gprs) to get my position.

    it shouldn't need a data network to acquire the satellites. I am able to acquire with out a data plan.

    many of the cards on the eBay are actually engineering samples, which may or may not have all the features enabled.
