OK so the scenario is that I have a Lenovo G575 notebook, with an AMD E-450 processor, and I upgraded the RAM to 1333Mhz speed, which Crucial System Scanner detects is compatible, and it is running at 1066Mhz. There is nothing in the BIOS that I can change because either it's hidden or doesn't even exist and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to make my memory run at full speed :(

How did you upgrade the memory? Did you just add an additional stick, or did you replace both sticks of RAM? What tool did you use to check the memory speed? The E-450 should support 1333MHz RAM with no issues, so theoretically it shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, there are two sticks in the ram slots both 4GB of 1333Mhz RAM by PNY, but Speccy, the Fusion control center, and WEI(which should change for the better with faster ram, since it's an APU) all report it as 533Mhz.

Anybody have any ideas? :( Should I just call Lenovo or something and see if they have like a key combination you have to enter to access the hidden bios settings? I've tried everything at this point unfortunately.
