Well I am in search of a new notebook and this IdeaPad caught my eye. I am cant find any reviews on this machine but if someone could give me some insight on it I will greatly appreciate it!
I was trying to keep my budget at $600.
I can go a little higher if you know of any better Levono machines out there around my budget.
I am mainly wanting it for school(college), light gaming(sims, wow, etc.), microsoft office, storing/view picture and videos, and websurfing.
I want something that will last me a while til I finish school (2 years.)
I hear that Lenovo is the company to check for lasting notebooks.

The G series is Lenovo's cheap line of computers. I would take a look at the y550 which is slightly better made and more people have them. You get the following specs for this one by entering: USPIDEA0510 for $645

    Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6600 (2.20GHz 800MHz 2MBL2)
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 32 Bit
nVidia Geforce G 210M graphic card with 512MB memory
15.6 HD WLED Glossy, 1366*768 with 1.3M integrated Camera
    3 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066MHz SODIMM Memory (2 Dimms)
    250GB Hard Disk Drive, 5400rpm
    SuperMulti DVD Recordable (Tray type)
Intel WiFi Link 5100 1x2 (AGN) WLAN
    6 Cell Lithium-Ion 2.6Ah
    4186: 1Year Depot Warranty

If you are really serious about your college studies and need your laptop day in and day out I would look at the Thinkpad line. (Way more expensive)

If you do choose to get the G555 and if you enter that code it brings it down to $509

    Code expires May 12

If you really want a budget price, a slightly slower version is selling for $379 at Newegg.
