I am tempted by the Lenovo Ideapad 720S 15" (HD not 4k model), but can't find any stats for the display (% NTSC, sRGB And Adobe RGB) Does anyoune know these stats? How does the display compare to the Dell XPS 15 - is it a long way behind?

The problem with that particular FHD version is that it can arrive with 1 of 3 different displays.

Mine had a Chinese panel. 90%+ sRGB.

But are they all about the same or do some have better or worse specs than others? Do you have the specs of all the panels?

If they do vary in specs and you have no control over which panel you receive, that seems a bit risky and damaging to brand confidence.

I’m not sure on the differences. Most people have no clue that panel discrepancy even exists.

Content creators were hardly talking about this until I started pushing this information out. Including the actual panel model number. I try to do my homework.

Can the screen be upgraded if you get a poor one?

I wouldn’t attempt it the 4K version but it should be possible on the FHD unit.

    I’ve had both
