Hey guys, i came across this today on a ad, but its over at amazon. Its being offered for $100 off their normal price, but there are no reviews or comments on it. Here is the link to the laptop, looks great, and definitely the best price ive seen on this type of laptop. Amazon.com: Lenovo Ideapad Y560 0646-2EU 15.6-Inch Laptop (Black):…

Its very similar to the ASUS N61JQ-X1 in stats, but i always have to wonder when something doesnt have any real reviews. Its been out since mid June. Thanks for any response! I placed this in the general laptop forum also, thanks!

The only real negative is the screen. Most users have reported "dancing pixels" and even with the BIOS update, there seems to be no permanent fix. For some people it isn't a big deal, while others would rather throw it out the window. Other than the screen problem, most users on here seem very pleased with their y560s.

I havent had any dancing pixels after the bios update. I do have some troubles with the graphics driver failing for no particular reason like twice a week, which should be fixed once lenovo packages the new 10.6 driver for the y560. I dont know about the Asus, but the y560 is also very stylish.
