This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    That's the price for thin, I guess. It has some neat features, but overall, I think you're right. The Y450 and Y550 will be higher performing machines than this and command a much friendlier price.

    but.. they didn't come out with the newest nvidia video card 100 series??
    not 1080p screen for y650?? :( too sad...

    The Y650 has the Nvidia 105M according to their site. It's new, but really only in name. It's still essentially old, renamed hardware with some minor changes.
