    Hello ,finally get my lenovo legion y520 and stuck with problem right away . The plan was to connect him to 144hz external monitor ,but there is no display port in it only usb c . is it possible to buy some usb c to display port cable and get 144hz ? I was talk with it specialist and he told me that usb c NOT connected to gtx 1050ti gpu - is that right ?

    It's very much possible the USB-C port on these do not support DP Alt Mode. In that case, forget the USB-C port because it will not work.

    You will need to use the HDMI port and there is a good chance it will only support max. 120Hz.
