Just wondering if you regulars here can tell me how often Lenovo has sales with this type of discounting? I'm debating a T60 14" or T61 but don't want to rush into the purchase.

    Thanks

Same here, but I want the 15' T61. Dont want the order the 14.1' and they start selling the 15' next Tuesday or Wednesday.

This sale ends May 30 - that's for sure. What happens then, nobody knows. Maybe, 50% off? :)

No need to rush into a purchase, if you can afford to wait.
Especially if it's not what you really want
There's always another sale. Typically in the summer. I'd expect one.

The sale is placebo. If you check prices before May 9th, and prices now after the 25% discount, you'll find the prices are the same. You've all been hoodwinked! Get the machine that you want.

    I want a T61p.

Seems fishy, like those Going-out-of-business sales that last 2.5 years.

When it comes to buying laptops from their manufacturers, it is always a "sale."
