I was just curious what lenovo's order process is like. The status of my order is still in process, i ordered on the 17th. Is this normal? Do they tell me when it goes to build stage, or is it in process till it ships.

    Thanks,

If you sign into your lenovo account. Click on the "order status" button and it should tell you what stage it's at

I think it may depend on what model you're ordering. I ordered a Y510 late Saturday evening and was notified today that it has shipped. My husband ordered a Y710 Sunday afternoon and it is still in processing.

yeah i got to reading and it looks like they wait till your credit card post the payment. My credit card is very slow when it comes to wait for payments to post. That could be why its taking so darn long.

My order said it was "in process" until they actually shipped the laptop. The order page should list an estimated ship date somewhere. Mine shipped about 2 weeks earlier than that said, but still took 2-3 weeks of "in process" while they built the laptop. Then it took maybe a week or so to ship from China. I think it took roughly 3 weeks or so from when I placed my order to receive it. I wouldnt worry, if there's a hold/charge on your CC you'll be getting your laptop.

Like others have mentioned - Don't Worry, you should be fine. Their website is not very good on feedback. I have ordered 2 Thinkpads in the last few months, and for both it said "In Process" till it shipped. Some people have the "In Process" even after the machine has shipped! So don't worry...
