error, they probably missed typed or something. i doubt that a respected company as lenovo would pull off a scam.

And a smart bargain shopper ALWAYS double checks the price of a mark-down (such as the items in the Outlet) against the same product NEW. But typos do happen....but it's the consumers responsibility, ultimately, to make sure he isnt' overpaying! ;)

The Lenovo outlet is very subject to data entry errors. It's usually very easy to find borked information. For instance in under a minute I just found an X61 with a TouchPad. That was never an option on the X61.

I don't call that a scam or fraud, just sloppy data entry.

To avoid disappointment when outlet shopping you should always research what you are buying.

If a customer orders a notebook with software, then returns the entire system for a refund, Lenovo is entitled to re-sell that software with the system it is installed on. Failing to list that in the details of the item isn't dishonest, incompetent and/or short-sighted, but that's really all. Listing the software would justify the elevated price over seemingly identical systems. The customer ultimately agrees to the price, so the burden is actually on the consumer.

Depot has very good turn around and plenty of deals. they took their time to approve my order but i received it in a day after i called and complained over the lack of response.

They should mention about the software bundle. but you can always call them up and ask for more details

Can you get the Lenovo T400 with an Intel WiMax 5350 wifi card?

I looked online and I thought it was there once in the configuration options but then the next time I looked at the options, it was gone and there was only an option for 5300!

This is on the Canadian site. I have noticed some posters asking whether the 5100 and 5300 are the only options so they are aware of Lenovo laptops being configured or being available with the 5350 wifi cards. So, what is going on?
