Is a power adapter from an IBM Thinkpad T41 compatible with a 14.1" T400 with integrated graphics? It's P/N 02K6816. Output voltage of 16V/3.5A LPS. I also have one from an X30 Thinkpad I think, P/N 02K6661 16V/4.5A. The plugs look identical.

Unfortunately they are not. However, Lenovo did standardize the power plug post T60. Everything T60+ is compatible.

Short Answer:
Anything earlier than the T43/R50 uses 16V adapters. These are compatible assuming you have adequate wattage (i.e. can use the 72w adapter on a notebook issued with 56w, but NOT vice versa).
Anything Newer than the x60/R60/T60 uses 20V adapters. These are compatible assuming you have adequate wattage (i.e. can use 90w adapter for dedicated models on a 65w integrated model, but NOT vice versa).
