I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 (64 bit) on my X200s and am downloading and installing the Leonovo and Lenovo Thinkvantage Programs. So far I have installed Rescue and Recovery, Power Manager, and the fingerprint software. I want to install the Active Protection Program and the Productivity Manager, but I see that they are not officially Windows 7 64-bit compatible. Should I hold off on these or do they work pretty well on Windows 7.
Thanks.

Lenovo has replaced the ThinkVantage Productivity Center with ThinkVantage Toolbox. It can be found here:

However, the latest ThinkVantage Productivity Center works perfectly fine in Windows 7 64-bit, if you prefer it.

ThinkVantage Active Protection System was updated for Windows 7 64-bit and can be found here:

does anyone here even use toolbox?
i find it a neat software, but it feels kinda 'heavy'. -
I tried it today...I wish it had the links to the other utilities like ThinkVantage use to. Especially for the radio controls because sometimes with my docking and undocking my external keyboard's fn keys don't work (unless i reboot). So I just added a shortcut to the executable though as a solution. The toolbox seems pretty useless aside from an easy way to see your serial number and warranty days left, heh.

Overall, I like ThinkVantage Toolbox. The System Diagnostics tools are very useful and extensive, similar to PC Doctor 5, but even better. It's developed by the same developers as PC Doctor.
My one criticism is that it is a bit bloated/heavy, I agree, especially with the advertisements on the main screen. -
Toolbox=PC Doctor. It takes up almost 140MB. It duplicates many operations that Win7 already provides, though perhaps in an easier way, and all under one roof. I am not sure it is necessary, but is interesting. I would like to hear of a good reason for it to be installed.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll install the toolbox and see how things go. To be honest navigating Lenovos website to find these programs is really quite difficult. I had searched for several days looking for the Active Protection System 64bit Windows 7 program, but I could only find the 32 bit version. Same thing for the other programs. That is why I came here. Again thanks for the help.

I'll try it out, but I've become a fan of using Windows utilities wherever possible for simplicity and speed's sake. -

On a related note, what are your opinions on Rescue and Recovery? Is it worth installing or should I just stick with the Backup and Restore that comes with Windows 7? I have the Professional version. I like to avoid redundant software myself also. -
