    Hi All,

I recently bought a Lenovo R61 with T9300 and 2 Gigs of ram. It has Integrated Graphics card. Since I am thinkpad fan, I bought this one since it fitted my Budget. Now I am planning to gift a laptop to my bro which has similar config. I was wondering which one to give....The following are the 2 choices/....

    Lenovo R61 (T9300) or HP Pavilion dv2799 Verve (t9300)

I want would want to know the reason if a suggestion is made.....

    Thank you All in advance...

You can give him the ThinkPad if you love your brother and want to keep his laptop for a long time and be happy with a durable one or you can give him the HP if he likes a pretty design, wants to burn his pants (while on lap) and die young :).
It's your choice, but if I were to make a gift to a female I wouldn't chose a ThinkPad, but since it's a guy, he'll understand.

I suspect the display quality of the HP with a discrete graphics card smokes the display quality of the Lenovo with integrated graphics.

If your brother is finicky about display quality give him the HP. If he needs a nipple give him the Lenovo.

Depends on what your brother plans to do with the laptop. If he's going to be staring at the screen for extended periods of time, I'd recc the R61, mainly for its matte screen, which is supposed to be better for the eyes. If he works with photos, get the HP for its glossy screen.

Filling out the FAQs might help a bit...
