    Lenovo Rescue and Recovery - any good?

    Lenovo's message center on my W520 wants me to download their Rescue and Recovery software.

    In the past, I was using ether Acronis True Image or Win 7 native system image. How does Lenovo's backup compare with any of these?

    Any real world experience?

    Personally, I prefer True Image. I do a clean install, then make an image, which I can put back at any time, then just do any needed updates.

    +1 True Image. I find restoring a Win7 system image to be quirky at times, although Rescue and Recovery is quirkier and possibly the quirkiest in this regard.

    I also find the True Image advertising to be highly entertaining:
