I posted this in What Laptop should I get but didn't really get a good response, I'm going to see if I can get more responses here.

First and foremost thanks to all the advice that will be given to me. Last time I asked for advice you guys got me a wonderful Asus. This time though I'm going to be looking to buy a netbook, namely the one in the title. I am interested in knowing what pros and cons I should be watching out for. I am aware that while netbooks really weren't designed for movies and gaming this one is supposed to break that trend. Here's what I do know

    Pros:
    • Great Portability
    • Ability to process HD
    • Good for decent gaming(despite no benchmarks yet)
    • Great Battery Life
    • Outputs 1080p

    Cons:
    • It's netbook, no designed for gaming
    • 12.1 in. monitor also not for gaming
    • 1.6gHz sucks.

And that's what I do know. I'm looking for more technical elements as to why I should or should not buy this netbook.

Looking to do some upgrades also like a better HDD maybe a SSD and RAM upgrade to 3gigs.

I am looking for the portability and battery life so certainly interested in this. I play Starcraft, Source Engine Games and I'm looking to be able to run SC2, L4D2 and possibly Borderlands. Not sure if it'll support it.

Also the last question I have is does anyone know if the little fella can be downgraded to XP without necessarily breaking out proprietary technology from third parties?

Again, many thanks to those who will answer my questions. I'm making the decision by Monday so time is of the essence.

This is a link to the Lenovo website and this is the link to the Newegg website where I'll be buying the laptop. The specs are the second to last on the Lenovo website and the specs of the laptop on Newegg.
