    Lenovo Shareit is a criticla update?

    I ran the lenovo system update and found one new critical update item. it is their shareit app. Based on my web research; it is just an app to transfer files to and from devices. So why do you think lenovo considered it as a critical update?

    They may have found a way it can be exploited so others can intercept information being transferred with the program or something that regularly causes the program to crash.

    That said, I don't typically pay any attention to the categories in which Lenovo lists updates. I update the programs and features I want and use and ignore the rest.
