When will lenovo have their own slate/tablet? Does anyone know any specific specs on it that will make it stand out from the rest of the other tablets?

I don't think so, but I wouldn't mind getting one of those. My bad, I may need to be more specific. What I ask is if lenovo is coming out with a tablet/slate similar to the ipad and motorola xoom products. Cause if they are I will kill to get one. not to go too off topic but are there any other good tablets out there besides the stuck-up ipad?

Those are some good finds. :D I wonder what the back looks like. some of these must be prototypes. I am sure they will release one of these in the fall, but who knows.

Okay, just read more of the link you sent jcm3. It appears then that in the late summer they will welcome the the lenovo thinkpad slate to the tablet family. That could always change though, and it prpbably will IMO.

Come to think of it.. there was a rumor that Lenovo was working on a 23 (yes, that's twenty three!) inch tablet: www.pclaunches.com Still didn't find a sleeve that will fit..

    Wow!
That would be a serious joke or a teaser to bide time for the 10" everyone makes. Its hard to believe. But since you brought it up PAx40, I'm now really going to take a look into this

The same thing is confirmed on all the other websites like notebookcheck for instance. Now, there's you touchscreen TV, monitor, or what ever you make of it. simply cool

A 23' tablet would be hard to hold for long, though...

use a TV stand or Table stand, derka derka :p
but yeah the word "tablet" is more referenced towards anything smaller than 12" that can be used in your hands.

I can't believe it! a 23" tablet, now thats a real stretch and risk. I would buy the best warranty though, thats for sure.
