My comment to the Vice President of Lenovos Corporate Identity and Design, David Hill, regarding his official blog entry on Lenovos Design Matters is below. Why am I posting the comment here? Because it appears Lenovo is selectively moderating/oppressing comments. While David has won accolades for some of his work, many of us have singled out at least one area of the T400s design that does not merit this. Thank you for your timethe blog entry is at http://lenovoblogs.com/designmatters/?p=228.

Sad to hear that there are comments being moderated or oppressed. Third-party forum is best
.

Well, of course they moderate it. Who wouldn't? But if this is the first time you've posted to that particular section of the blog, it will get held in a queue until someone reviews and releases it. Even mine on Mark's blog got held up the first time.
Since I haven't noticed any new names posting this weekend, I assume that the moderators are out enjoying their weekend. Check again Monday or Tuesday to see if it's posted. -
I agree with Nonny.
Some of you guys need to read the instructions and wait a couple of days before making a big deal out of it. And if you guys bother to read some of the other comments, you can see some are very similar to BinkNR's opinion.

Another technical point...
I know on other forums prohibit posts with full sentences in caps lock. So if you edit your statement to have a little less yelling-emphasis you may have better luck. -
I read the bit on the bottom, but I guess I’m used to the instant gratification normally provided by the Internet. My comment from the fourth was released today. Although there were others posted throughout the weekend, I’m glad to see my moderating/oppressing myth busted
.
I am very pleased with my T400. While the keys on the keyboard feel AWESOME, we all have the right to call out Dave on his keyboard stiffness myth, even if it is not on his blog.
Cheers. -
Is this the first time you had posted anything to the blog? Everyone whose comments were published throughout the weekend had posted previously, and their comments go straight through automatically since they're known not to be spammers. As I said the other day, it happens to any new poster. I posted something using my real name instead of Nonny a few weeks ago to Design Matters, and it got held up for moderation since it was the first time I had posted like that.
-
Yea, it was my first time. I used my online alias for the post, but the email address is real/mine.
-
The comment shows up in it's entirety (well, as far as I can tell, I didn't go over it word for word) as comment #54. So it was just a delay in being posted, not censorship.

i will start complaining about the flex if i press a key and it flies out and hits me in the eye...
