"Business" laptop or not, it's truly unfair that Lenovo omits DVI output on the T400. The Dell Latitude E6400 is just as much a “business” laptop yet includes a Display Adapter port (same difference). Instead, Lenovo forces T400 owners to settle for an expensive and inconvenient docking station. I’ve always hated even thinking about surrendering to those clunky add-ons-especially since you usually end up paying for more ports you already have plenty of and/or will never use. And to retain the T series build quality and LED flat matte screen, neither would I choose the more expensive T500, having to endure its larger size and weight just to get DVI output. The Lenovo sales guy did say there are PC cards with DVI out, though didn’t suggest any specific models. After lots a huge web search, all I could find was found Village Tronics’ VTBook CardBus. It’s not very cheap and did not work with at least one Samsung DLP TV (see last year’s notebookreview.com review of this card). Has anyone used the VTBook card in the T400 or any other laptop? If yes, any problems
displaying widescreen DVD movies via the card’s DVI output to a large screen plasma or LCD TV?
