    Lenovo T420s Issue

    I'm having the following problems:

    -My computer flickers every second. About every once second the computer screen "blinks" and goes black.
    -Resolution/colors got worse. Like it went half into safe-mode. Also, when I open a program like Microsoft Word or OneNote, it looks like I have booted it up in safe mode. Example: imgur: the simple image sharer (couldn't get the flickering unfortunately).
    -My computer thinks it is in dual monitor mode even when I have it off the docking station and on my laptop itself. I would post a picture but my Paint and Word applications can't be shown because they're on the phantom second monitor.

    I already made sure that it isn't set up in dual-monitor mode. Help!

    The flickering is back, and with a vengeance. It looks like someone is like placing a magnet up against the screen or something. Anyone have any thoughts?

    Given that the colors reverted to the basic set, I'm going to guess that this is a software issue. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics drivers. I assume you have the the Intel graphics variant?
