    Good afternoon everyone,

I just did a clean install of windows on my new t430s.... I've installed a bunch of drivers but there are two that I cannot figure out! They are:

    Unknown device
    PCI Serial Port

Any thoughts on what these could be?

Thank you in advance for your help gang! Have a wonderful day!
    -tsd

ps - an aside, lenovo has not yet put the fingerprint software for this new model on their downloads page... i cannot find that either! :|

I found them -- they were the Intel AMT and the USB 3 HUB drivers. I hope this information helps!

Lenovo still doesn't have the fingerprint software on the site yet... haha

How does the keyboard feel? Any idea on the screen branding (LG, AUO, etc)? Congrats on the new purchase!

honestly, there is a difference when you type on this keyboard vs all of the previous ibm/lenovo keyboards they have been nearly identical... i prefer the old style keyboard... i can still type very quickly on this one (80-90wpm) but i would definitely be typing faster on the older style. the gaps in between the keys really makes a difference when typing, at least for me it does.

That's what I was afraid of, although, I suppose trying it for myself is the only way to tell if I can personally get used to the keyboard.

Any luck verifying the brand of screen? Did you get the HD+ screen? Thanks again for your feedback

Do you have the NVS 5200M in your T430s? If so, there are a lot of folks here that would appreciate seeing how well it does in 3DMark :)

viewing angle sort of sucks because you have to look at the monitor dead on to have all the colors appear accurately. if you shift up or down (or shift the monitor (open more or close more), the colors get darker until you cant read/see them anymore....

i keep adjusting the screen and it's very tough to get to a point where you can see all of the screen colors accurately... i can see most of the screen fine then one of the upper corners gets dark... i adjust it again and another part gets dark... it takes a lot of adjustments to see it properly
