    Holy headache, Batman!

My boss just bought us all new Lenovo T440s with the touch screen and I think the screens are HORRIBLE. I don't think my boss cares very much but the color is totally off and the text is not sharp at all. I attempted to calibrate my screen but it still looks very bad and is giving me headaches and making me squint.

Is this normal? Should I ask him to switch it out for a non-touch screen version? Are there any fixes?
I searched a bit in the forums but couldn't tell if the issues were resolved and honestly I can't read through much more text, my head might explode.

    Thanks for the help!

I once had the Lenovo Z710 not too long ago and the screen was really horrible, it was a very cheap budget TN panel, the view angle was extremely narrow and thus the brightness was uneven. Check HWInfo to see what screen you have, if it's really a cheap TN panel then sadly there's really nothing you can do .......

Touch screen on T440s was only available as FHD which was also IPS...

You may want to try calibrating that panel with some proper software...it may or may not work for you.

    Good luck.

If you hate it that much, then yes.
