Do I have to fiddle with the BIOS?
I have Vista 64 bit Premium, and a 7200 RPM WD (which you all said is compatible).
Do I have to make any changes to the BIOS before swapping the HDD's?
Or do I just throw it in and itll auto detect, install vista and im g2g?

    Just throw it in.

    It'll be fine.

    You shouldn't have any trouble.

The BIOS switch (set SATA to compatibility mode) is only required if installing XP without a slipstreamed SATA driver. With Vista you shouldn't have any trouble.
