    Hey Guys,

I haven't been here since I bought my T500. I was looking all over when purchasing, but this site sold me on Lenovo and I went with the T500 eventually (T400 was nice, but got this a bit cheaper, and enjoy the bigger screen). Even convinced a friend to get a T400 once he saw mine. So a big thank you to everyone who answered my questions back in August.

But I have a new one now, does the T500 have a built-in sound card? I'm 99% sure the answer is no.

The reason I ask is there are a few streaming concerts online I want to rip and save on my computer. I was trying to use Free Sound Recorder, but the only recording option is the built in mic, no sound card to get better quality.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to get these 2 concerts recorded using my T500?

Thanks a lot and cheers to all.

Well, that was stupid of me. I just assumed since every screen shot I saw of choosing the sound input device had a sound card and mine didn't, something was up.

The app is called Free Sound Recorder.

I had tried another one a month or two back, and had the same problem, but I can't recall the name of it either.

Can you think of anything I can do?

    Thanks.

    Thanks

Also came across this virtual cable, the test worked out.

Unfortunately to actually do what I want it to it'll cost 40 bucks US.

There are really only 2 shows I want to record, don't feel like spending any money on em. I'll just do it when I get home on a desktop.

Real bummer they had to do this to sound cards, but thanks for the help guys.
