Out of all my keys, L has become softer and doesn't register sometimes. Is there anyway I can fix this myself instead of having to send it in?
I just had to retype L there 3 times.
Here's an example of how many times it doesn't register.

I think you get the point.

Just call and request a new keyboard. It is a consumer replaceable part. Maybe some food is stuck under the key too?
-
Does the keyboard cost me anything? I don't think food is stuck there... btw I've had this for about half a year now.

Give them a call and they will ask for your information. The person on the other end of the line might as well be "the almighty" so you should be cool with them. I had a problem with my T400 keyboard (the famous flexy swiss-cheese keyboard) and was sent a replacement T61 Chicony keyboard the next day.

If you're still under warranty, call support and they'll mail you a replacement keyboard.

Stop eating friend chicken and fries and other greasy foods or at least wash you hands before you use your TP.
