    Which notebook is better?
What are the main differences between them?
Does the W500 have a better screen, graphics card, build-quality etc?

Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks! ;)

I don't really know what's fact from fiction because of the many errors on Lenovo's website, but when I was deciding, it came down to this:

W500 for business application (CAD?) performance
T500 for mobility (e.g. battery life)

I'm sure others can clarify the details.

The W500 and T500 are, AFAIK, almost the same laptop.

The only difference is that the W500 have a workstation graphic card, which is useless for most people. It is not really more powerful that the 3650 on the T500, but it has a more "stable driver (a stability only required for 3d design).

Also the W500 has the WUXGA display, max display resolution on the T500 is WSXGA+

If the only main difference is the graphics card, then its not worth overpaying for practically the same thing.

I just looked at pictures of the W500 and noticed that it has a numeric pad, which is not that necessary.

WSXGA+ is great for a 15.4" notebook. WUXGA is overkill-it makes text too small to read and it isn't practical, unless your watching HD movies etc.

You probably were looking at the W700, which is another story. The W500 doesn't have numerpad.
