    Quick couple of questions:

    1) Does Lenovo ship discs along with a purchased laptop? Discs for installing windows vista and the needed drivers for the Lenovo, like the switchable graphics driver?

    2) Does the switchable graphics driver work for windows 7? Does everything else pre-installed with the lenovo work?

1.) They don't ship, but you can create your own via their software when it arrives. You'll need some DVD's to burn.

2.) No driver for it yet. However, you can switch graphics via the bios. Lenovo does have some beta drivers for Win 7 which work just fine.

You can burn your own recovery disks. It's 1 CD and 2 DVDs, took me about 40 minutes to do it. Really easy. I wiped my installation afterward and put Windows 7 on my machine. With the beta drivers it runs great!

I'd back up all drivers thats preloaded on your computer , get yourself a copy of your licensed version of windows, and then do a clean install.
