    Hey everyone, quick question, I ordered a T520 just wondering if it will come with a collection of the 3 types of trackpoint caps or if i will have to buy them seperately? thanks

    Earlier series never included a mix of caps, so I assume you will receive 1 cap. Check ebay for cheap rubber nodules!

    I wouldn't say never...
    My T60 came with 3 but not any of my other Thinkpads.

    Lenovo stopped including them about halfway into the life of the Tx00 generation (my T500 came with them, but some people who ordered later did not receive them). So no, unfortunately, you won't get them. Lenovo and a couple of other online retailers sell replacement cap sets, though.

    For what it's worth, my T61 came with a bag of two different kinds (the dome, and the eraser/fuzzy headed one), plus the one already on the keyboard.

    My X301, while costing MUCH more, came with NO spares lol

    T410 came without spare caps, I couldnt even remove the original trackpoint, so it stayed with original one instead of ebay replacements that Ive ordered.
