Hello, everyone. Because i needed a laptop for school, i just ordered a Lenovo T61(used), because i read that these laptops are very well made and reliable.
Anyway, the seller told me that the battery is dead. I decided to do something about this. I`m thinking of just replacing the cells in the battery with new ones. but i couldn`t find out what is the the capacity of the original cells and how hard it is to dismantle the battery itself. Any tips on that ? :)

Better save yourself the hassle and buy a cheap used original battery on eBay.

That would be my sentiment as well. My friend replaced the cells in an Acer battery once, and all it did was get him half the original runtime and even less capacity reporting accuracy.
