    Hello, everyone, I am trying to figgure out what memmory module is 100% compatible with my T61p laptop.

    I am planing to get 4gb of memmory for working. What kind of memmory module would be 100% compatible. Please only with experience of sucessfull upgrade.

    WXP and VistaB32 only support 3.2gb memory

    Crucial, Patriot, Muskin, Kingston, Samsung, Hynix and Infineon are all brands that are guaranteed to work...although the brand doesn't really matter, the ones I mentioned are well known brands.

    I have 2GB of G.Skill in mine and it works fine.

    2x2GB Crucial PC2-5300 chips in my T61p and X61t and both work perfectly.

    I have the same setup and it works great
