Reinstalled Windows Vista and installed drivers from the Lenovo web page but I'm not seeing anything for the bluetooth PAN whatsoever. Fn + F5 does nothing, no utilities that I can find. Worse yet there is no information anywhere. What the heck do I have to install to make this thing work?

    Try this:
    Install ThinkVantage Access Connections.
Hit Fn+F5, the OSD should come up with the option to turn ON bluetooth.
    Install the bluetooth driver.

Once Bluetooth is working you can go ahead and remove Access Connections if you so wish.

Thanks for posting. I f.und Access Connections right before I read your post. Problem is Fn + F5 still does nothing and still no Bluetooth tools.

Edit: Ok, there is a second Access Connections icon on my toolbar, this one has a Tools menu with Wireless USB and Bluetooth in it, but they are greyed out. :-(

I assume I'm missing some drivers or software, but it's impossible to know just what. I can't find any information on Lenovo's website.

Another thing too, most of the Lenovo drivers don't install when you double click on the downloaded exe, rather it self extracts to a folder and you'll need to navigate there and run the installer.

Thanks, I'm reinstalling Windows now and am going to give it another shot. It's really hard to tell just which files need to be installed. That plus all of the driver packages have pretty cryptic names which makes keeping track of them a pain.

Did you follow Stallen's guide? I'd follow that guide with special attention paid to Part 2.

Even if you're not doing a clean install over the factory drive using the Anytime Upgrade disc(which is the intended objective of the guide) it's still a very good resource for just any kind of vista installs especially Part 2 if you follow the download sequence and install the drivers in that order.

Thanks, looked in the sticky and found it, I'll give it a good read.
