    Hi Guys,
I bought a very clean lenovo t61p. Graphics chip seams to be good but I would like to make it last longer and improve the heat dissipation.

I have successfully reflowed a hp dv2000 and replaced the heat pad with a 0.8mm copper shim.

I am wondering has anyone added a copper shim to their lenovo t61p or other lenovos.

Information on modding hp dv series is well documented, not so for lenovos.

If anyone has any advice on it I would appreicate it.
If I do the mod I will make a how to guide.

So any feedback would be great

    Thanks
    Daniel

Any word on this mod? I'm interested now that my T61p warranty is over.
