For some reason I cannot access Lenovo Tabook, it keeps coming back with an error, a damaged file of some sorts. I am trying to see if the following Lenovo Thinkpad T400 has a good keyboard or has the flex problem one.

    Model Name: 6473PTG
    Part Number: NM7PTxx

I have the choice of this one above, or the following (delivery of which is a few days later)

    Model Name: 647358G
    Part Number: NM758xx

I will take whichever does not have the faulty screen ... please advice. Thank you !

The tabook isn't going to tell you which keyboard you got. You'd need the serial number for that.

Does the Tabook not tell what time the machine model was made and hence a better chance or worse to get the faulty keyboard. Does the Tabook tell when the models above were manufactured ?

The reseller says if it has a flex keyboard they will replace it as Lenovo is aware of that issue ... but then again I don't know how long that would take.

Ok I rest my case and take the plunge ... luckily my own machine looks like it will be an X200 with ultrabase ... and a LED 1280 x 800 ... but need the T400 for the business. Thanks for the help.
