The Notebook came originally with Intel T2390 1.86 MHz Dual Pentium FSB 533MHz L2 1MB
I upgraded to Intel Core 2 Duo T5750 2.0 MHz FSB 667MHz L2 2MB ~$4/free ship
Next Upgrade was Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 MHZ FSB 800MHz L2 4MB $10/free ship( actually T7700 2.40/4M/800 badged as T7500)
From 533 to 667 to 800Mhz,,all in a days work..![]()
L2 from 1 to 2 to 4MB,,,![]()
This one is sold....
One other note I exchanged the DDR2 ram in this one 4GB 800Mhz for 4GB 667MHz in the Lenovo G530 I sold,,now each runs at higher rated FSB's ..![]()
GM965 Express runs ram at 533MHz or 667 Mhz,,running 667Mhz
GL40 Express runs ram at 667Mhz or 800Mhz running 800Mhz. PS read the intel pdf release notes with updates on this chipset not ark | intel for the win, they differ.
Cheers

No Need for analogue sensors boards to run anything other than T2xxx, T5xxx, T7xxx,, no bios mod needed so long as manufacturer has CPU microcode for the CPU installed by bios updates or diy...![]()

One other Item,, I mentioned that I installed a Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 ,,after careful review, and testing thru CPUz and other cpu utilities, I found out it runs at 2.4Ghz not 2.2Ghz,,must be a rebadged Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 to T7500,,not bad for $10. Shipping was a little late,,I gave them positive ne way..
I kept watching it run at 2390 MHz both cores,,,,Its T7700 with T7500 Badges,,,,How about that ....
I also did updates on usb and too many to count devices drivers to 2013 driver dates whql.....
Cheers

What does the BIOS say about the CPU model and speed? That's the only thing that really matters...
