Okay I just received a Lenovo ThinkPad X61 Notebook and it's logged on the Administrator user which is the only one and it's password protected, and well, I don't know that password?!!

Does anyone know a way of helping me? Now I can sit here and type my life away thinking of the password, but no. I wanted to restore it back to factory but the IBM system is way different from what I'm used to (HP, DELL, ETC).

Can anyone help with that also?

    PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE.

Incase the site doesn't notify me on replies feel free to email me.

Because you are asking about bypassing a security measure, thread closed.

You need to contact Lenovo and ask them, as they can probably help you once you verify you are the real owner. And if they cannot verify that, then you really do need to speak with the original owner.
