    Hello,

My brother is interested in getting a R500 ThinkPad. I saw some cheap offers on Lenovo's outlet website. What is your experience with refurbished computers - the good and especially the bad :) Is it safe? Do they usually work well? Are they reliable? The prices on Refurbished R500 on the outlet vary a lot - does it say anything on the actual condition of the laptop? or just what's in it?

    Thank you.

I bought a couple refurbed ThinkPads for others. They looked new to me and I've not heard back of any issues with them. I don't think the prices reflect the quality of the machines.
