    Hi all,

Currently I have one old Dell vostro 3500 laptop. But

I am planning to buy one Thinkpad T410 machine from India, and I am now residing in England.I like and found two similar machines in the lenovo website,

From it I can see only difference is in warranty type and in processor speed.they are

    1) ThinkPad T410i (2.66GHz)
    Price*: Rs.72,136.00*

    2)ThinkPad T410(2.53Ghz) - 3 Year Depot Warranty
    Price*: Rs.71,700.00*

What is actually the Depot Warranty means?

I like the first one most because it has got a high speed. But I am stuck in second one in Depot warranty term in the second one.

    I have some questions,
    1) I read the review of T410 from this site ( Lenovo ThinkPad T410 Review, but it is having some difference in the exact series in lenovo site.
--->What about the real pros and cons of this laptop?
--->Mainly what about its heating effect?
--->What about its battery back up?
--->What about its service and cooperation?
--->Is there any benefit for me If I buy this equivalent series from US?
--->Also I cannot see any camera in its spec? is it true?
    --->

    here is the comparison,

    Lenovo - Products

    Many kind regards,
    /Kanu

Any ThinkPad with i in the model name is the base model and has no upgrades thus cheaper.

Depot warranty means you have to mail it Lenovo or Lenovo approved repair center for warranty repair.

Without any additional information on specs, it's hard to determine. T410 either comes with Intel HD graphics or Nvidia Quadro 3100M GPU, base i3 all the way up to an i7 dual core. ThinkPads generally manage their heat pretty well, but again hard to determine your situation without giving all information. T410i/T410 should use the same battery, all depends on which one you buy. Don't know if you can get a US ThinkPad serviced in UK or anywhere else unless you buy an international warranty (IBM AFAIK does all US ThinkPad repairs, at least at my workplace that's how ThinkPads get serviced).
