Will lenvo ever produce a U150, with an Intel C2D(similar on the U110 now) a dvd burner with the option of getting blu-ray, either the 9300 gpu, or the intel 4700hd gpu. With the option of either a 320hd or a 64gb, 80gb and 128gb ssd, with 256gb to come once prices lower a little. Any ideas?

anyone please?

lol
i just heard bout that stuff
ssd will set the price soo high i think -
huh you heard about what?

I highly doubt it since the frame of the notebook is too small or will require too many changes in order to have a disc drive. That's where the U330 comes in.
If there is a refresh coming soon, it will probably be to the Intel Montevina chipset. -
I guess I was not clear but I was referring to an external optical drive the U110 currently has.

I wish that they would refresh it. But Calpella isn't that far away now. If they do though, I'd want them to implement the following:
1. Remove gloss entirely from the interior (or atleast from the keyboard area)
2. Use a better screen (without double gloss coating) & keyboard
3. Remove gimmicky touch controls (less that can go wrong) whilst making the power button more subtle
4. Update specs to use 1.6 Core 2 Duo latest/fastest ULV processor (to increase the average battery life significantly) and use the ION chipset instead of Intel's weak offering
5. Consider using Synaptics' ClickPad centered
6. Don't make the palmrest white (see Y-series)
7. Release it in the UK -_-'
Seriously though, why don't we get any Ideapads here besides netbooks? The rest of Europe has the entire range even though they're only across the channel. Did we upset Lenovo in some way? Someone, please tell me.
The exterior design and build quality should remain at the same level because it doesn't really need to be improved upon. As long as it isn't lowered... -
It does currently have a 1.6ghz low voltage cpu which is faster than the ulv cpu and cost a little less.
