I don't know much about webcams, but it sounds like the T61 with 15.4" screen will never be offered with an integrated webcam. If it ever does, I'm not likely to wait much longer for it.

So... Does anyone have hands on with this Lenovo USB webcam? Is it any good or would I be better off with something from another manufacturer like Logitech ? Comments/Suggestions?

Well, this is the USB webcam, I think the question was regarding built-in cam, which nobody has a clue about - yet.

No my question says "USB". I read somewhere that the 15.4" T61 will not have built in. So my question is: Lenovo USB webcam vs. other?

Thanks wave... I'll check out that link right now. ;)

EDIT: Hmmm. I checked out that engadget link. There was a comment from somebody that has used this Lenovo Webcam and a Logitech...

I use to own the Quickcam for Notebooks Pro, and I like this camera better. It is much more 'attachment friendly' than the logitech was, and I swear the picture is better (though that doesn't make sense given the spec basically identical). If you need a portable cam for notebooks, I doubt there's a beter one on the market."

I've read a lot of positive reviews re: the Logitech Quickcam Deluxe for Notebooks. In fact, it's on my shopping list...
