After reading great reviews about the Lenovo USB Webcam, I purchased it and now I'm having a problem loading the Lenovo Webcam software. One of the settings asks for the Webcam serial number. I entered the serial number that is on the webcam and clicked finish only to receive the error "the serial code that was input is incorrect" and then the webcam installation stops. I spent hours and hours on the phone with Lenovo with no solution. Before I return the webcam to Lenovo, I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem and has a workaround. I've tried inputting many different numbers in hopes that it would take but without any luck. I'd welcome any thoughts or suggestions on this. Thanks.. Trice207

Yes, the serial number is on the red sticker on the cd case. It is red, InterVideo mediaOne Gallery. The camera is real nice, it can sit on both laptop and external monitor. Have fun!

PalmVim, Thank You ! The CD case was face down on my desk so I never saw that label. Probably the only number I had not tried. It's really unbelievable that considering all the time I spent on the phone with Lenovo support, no one knew that. Thanks again...

They should have put the sticker on the opening side of the CD case. I did try every number on that box and cam before seeing it on the cd case...

Weird... I thought this was a common question. I myself had the same problem...
but ended up discovering it myself.
