    Hi,

I reinstall Windows 7 using the Recovery Discs. I did uninstall some of the programs throughougt the process. I don't know whether it is because I uninstalled anything important, but now the Lenovo Updates are not functioning. I always get a "PC-Doctor Module has stopped working" message once I start the ThinkVantage Toolbox. After I click "check online solution" and I can proceed. However, I cannot update Lenovo drivers etc using the program.

Anyone know the reasons and how to fix it? I think I saw similar problems occur to someone doing clean installation but I cannot find the thread already..

    Thanks.

    Yee Kan

    Try installing PC-Doctor.
After that, check if you have the .net framework enabled. the thinkvantage stuff need the .net framework to run.

I think that poster means "Lenovo Thinkvantage Toolbox". It may help. You may want to reinstall System Update, the Thinkvantage Toolbox, maybe other stuff. I know I actually had problems with System Update because I installed Win7 SP1 beta and it threw off the program or something and System update refused to work (then it just magically worked when I got the release SP1 installed).
