I'm looking to buy a new laptop and have narrowed the search down to the following:

    Lenovo V360
    ASUS U35JC
    ACER 3820TG

My criteria is mainly the lightest most powerful laptop for this budget, and these are the three options that jump out.

I'm leaning towards the V360 as it is lightest and looks the best/ feels like the best build quality. It is the cheapest (HK$5,800), but doesn't quite match the ASUS for spec (ASUS has i5 chip rather than i3, better video card, longer battery life, but is HK$1500 more expensive at HK$7,500, is slightly heavier and feels very plasticy). I keep hearing bad things about ACER in general that is putting me off them.

Does anyone have any experience with the V360? Also what is the maximum RAM it can expand to?

Any other comments/views would be much appreciated.

Dear P-Mac, I bought the V360 some days ago and it comes with a Core i5 520M 2.4ghz giving me a Passmark rate of 921.60 almost 3 times that of a Thinkpad T60 I used until now. The laptop has a very good build quality and its design is very classy with a brushed aluminium lid, not so good keyboard and a wide range of ports and conectivity for US $ 800 here, it was a very good pick. I like Acer too but its looks feel cheap. My recommendation go for the Ideapad!
