I have found for sale locally a 2 month old W520. I am interested in the machine to do some in the field photo editing. The machine unfortunately has the 1600x900 screen. Never having seen one of these, I wonder how good the color quality on the lower resolution screen is. I understand this is somewhat subjective but would be interested in owners comments on the difference.

    Thanks
    Carr

It's a typical notebook LCD screen. It's a little brighter than most but considering your profession, you'll probably find the color gamut support lacking.

Thanks very much for the comment. Just what I was looking for. Good reason to order one new.
